During my doctoral research which was based on the factors that influence the adoption of m-Commerce by micro and small businesses in a developing country, one question that kept recurring is: what is the difference between e-Commerce and m-Commerce? As a result, I decided to publish a paper in order to address this question. Subsequently, when asked this question throughout my research, I always referred back to the paper and that helped a lot. Even after completing my research, I found myself being asked this same question during a lecture with MBA students and again, the paper came in handy. Beyond the confines of the classroom and academic events, this question often comes up almost every time I mention the word m-Commerce.
